✅ Check for carbon monoxide leaks

✅ Inspect burner flame and clean burner assembly if necessary

✅ Test ignition system and flame sensor

✅ Inspect heat exchanger for cracks, corrosion, or soot buildup

✅ Inspect flue, venting system for proper draft, obstructions

✅ Confirm combustion air supply is adequate and unobstructed

✅ Inspect expansion tank (verify proper air charge)

✅ Inspect for leaks at valves, pumps, and connections

✅ Inspect and clean condensate trap and drain

✅ Inspect all wiring and electrical connections

✅ Check for fault codes or lockouts on the control display
